Amina Saleh Jambo

Amina S. Jambo is a seasoned professional with a career footprint that spans over 29 years of active service within the private, public and development sector.

After completing her degree in Sociology from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland, Amina’s interest in global development and humanitarian studies was triggered and she started her career with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in Geneva as a Social Welfare Officer. From Geneva, she returned back to Lagos and continued in her role within UNHCR. After completing her assignment in UNCHR, Amina then moved into Nigeria’s organized private sector and held several leadership roles in various SMEs across Lagos, Kaduna, and Abuja.

After her stint working in Nigeria’s organized private sector, Amina then joined the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission as an administrative executive where she rose through the ranks to become the Commission’s Head of Press and Protocol. As she continued on in her career, Amina was continuously recognized within the Nigerian public sector for her exceptional skills in protocol and stakeholder management and thus was subsequently appointed as Special Assistant (Protocol) to the honorable Minister of Finance. Upon completion of her assignment as Special Assistant, she moved on to become the head of intergovernmental relations and facilitation unit of the one-stop investments Centre (OSIC) of the Nigerian Investment Promotions Commission. Shortly after, as part of her endeavor to grow her skills & expertise base, Amina shifted her career to the Customer Experience & Service sector by taking up a job as Team Lead, Customer Experience Team for Nigeria’s largest Local Airport Terminal – The Murtala Mohammed Airport – II. She is an avid advocate for social development issues particularly girl child education.

Some other highlights of Amina’s career highlights include:

  • Contested for the seat of Representative for Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam – Federal Constituency – (Plateau State) in the Federal House of Representatives for 2011.
  • Chairman of the Board – Plateau Environmental Protection Agency (PEPSA).
  • Managing Director – Cobalt International Services Ltd.
  • Certified International Protocol and Diplomacy Consultant, International Etiquette and Protocol Academy of London, Minding Manners International, ’19.

Amina currently resides in Abuja and is the Chief Executive Officer of Coaching Consulting & Allied Services.
